Minty Fresh Gear

funny thing happened today, murphy (or murphy's law) was in full effect. For those of you who don't know who murphy is; he is the creator of all problems that shouldn't happen. I.e. my computer randomly choosing to not read hard drives, people not paying for commercials on time and video work on time, chicks having boyfriends, and of course the re-occurring San Diego State girl who prides herself on being, well, a SDSU girl. But I'm not hear to squabble about how off kilter my day was, or to tell you about slutty chicks. I'm here to show you some new Nike gear. In addition to the new gear, I would like to briefly mention a photo shoot that is taking place in La Jolla, this coming saturday. My boy Zach Woods will be behind the camera, for those of you who don't know Zach, he runs a website called Tha Clinic (www.thaclinic.com). Among the crew will be Jason Tarpin, Cameron Sikes a.k.a. E.L. Healey, Alex Loucas a.k.a Grizzlee, and the other boys from AMMG; Carlos Mason & Shelby Meinzer. Food, smoke, drink, and music will be apart of the festivities. I'm just going to leave you with this; Don't be a trip on the economy, work harder and don't fall subject to the vibe going around right now, because I hear a lot of negative commentary. We don't need that, we need positive reinforcement, and something to look forward to. But to the clothing........new shit.......

Nike Sports Essentials Full-Zip Men's Hoodie with bio-polished feel. For sure to be a great workout/hang out hoodie.

airMAX90's  - 90's just hit fine sneaker stores around the world. They come in black and white color-ways with baby blue accents, pretty legit.

89' Nike Air Pegasus back in force with two baller ass colors to match your nasty clothing collection. Nike plans to release more shoes of this style in summer 2009. Keep em' peeled.

Greetings from J.E.

the past posts have generated a lot of positive feedback. I guess 50 or so people think I'm worthy of making their rss feed. rad. The Gentleman's Lodge I'm sure looks great, sandwiched between Perez Hilton's cock blog and 10 Ways to Improve Your Home Garden with that Ty guy that got a ton of DUI's. But anyways, I'm glad you are reading, It's always interesting....

Cheers.

On a Walk With Cameron Sikes a.k.a E.L. Healey

These photos were taken between the start and finish of the following interview.

E.L. Healey
Phenomenal deals on steak right now.
On a Walk w. E.L. Healey

The following interview was documented at aprox. 11:53pm February 19th 2009. J.E. Albert was asking questions and E.L. Healey was getting interviewed.

j.e.
It's good to have you here tonight. I am going to ask you a few questions that may not seem related, in fact they aren't, but do the best of your ability to answer them.

e.l.
ok

j.e.
Where do you think the largest contributor to the economic crisis lies?

e.l.
The fact that the wealth in the world is held by 2% of the population. We need to get greedy old people to start giving back, that's the only way.

j.e.
Fair enough. Who was 2pac to you?

e.l.
2pac was such a tragedy. I feel that he struggled with himself a lot. He was a genius, but the conflict within himself started to surface at the end. 2pac recognized the good or the positive in every thing regardless of color and shape and size. Yeah he loved his people, but at the end of the day he loved everyone.

j.e.
give me your take on The AlbertMason Group

e.l.
they are a group of good people who regardless of my personal interest in them, I respect. They are driven with every ounce they have. They will have a tremendous opportunity (to make it).

j.e.
tell me a little about The Seasons, the new film your are co-staring in.

e.l.
The Seasons has a lot of heart, and tremendous potential. These kids in the story have such good intentions, but its so tragic how getting caught up in money and freedom. A big part of the message is about how those things can cripple good intentions.

j.e.
I heard the content is pretty graphic, how should people deal with that?

e.l.
with the good comes the bad, and in life and in The Seasons thats how it is. The negative consequences shown for the behavior in the movie is enough of a deterrent from this type of behavior to consider it educational.

j.e.
and Max Albert is directing that movie right? what's your take on working with him?

e.l.
max albert is an extremely smart guy. He has the potential to be one of the great directors of our time. He treats each project that he works on like a masterpiece he's dedicated his life to and I respect that.

j.e.
I hear you have a meeting with Jerry Weintraub (producer of the Oceans 11, 12, 13 series) in the next month, thats huge right?

e.l.
yeah I'm really excited for next month. We are talking about this HBO sitcom surrounding Sherry Wolfe's life. It's a challenge to write something thats funny the whole time you are watching it, but we think that with this show we will be able to do that. Its a unique idea and I can't wait to see where we go with it.

Adidas SLVR

This song came on today, what a good video. Apparently I have a boat fetish......key.

SoHo SLVR store

In the SoHo district of Manhattan, Adidas opens a new store geared toward casual wear clothing. I haven't personally had a chance to go here, but I hit up my cousin in Ny (156th street) he says its pretty next level. With prices that won't break your wallet, SLVR offers sweatshirts, windbreakers, and white leather low tops, to name a few. But high cost clothing is subjective. I'd rep this gear any day. Adidas has needed a new image for their "jocky" reputation. Only 1 store currently carries the SLVR line, however international openings in Berlin, Moscow, and Beijing will sprout up this spring. Classic, Versatile, and comfortable, I think Adidas could have something here. Or it's bullshit. I just don't want to be some schmuck wearing a huge Adidas logo on my "members only jacket", that set me back twice over a standard jacket. See for yourself.
Cheers Gents.

Dick Barf & DVCAM

CHSTV Studio
UCSD Studio

Today I almost stuck a fork in my eye when I arrived at the UCSD broadcast studio. It resembled an after party from the middle ages; cables on the floor, nasty couches with dick barf all over the cushions. Here's the good news though; we have complete producing power over this show. I will clue you all in once we gather some more information regarding the segment content. I will say that it involves issues regarding solar energy as well as alternative fuel resources. Not the typical Albert Mason project. But what really is?
All I can really say is the time I spent with Mr. Green on the set of CHSTV has really payed off. Being able to walk in that studio and know exactly what needed to be changed and altered in order for the show to work, was a skill that you only develop with experience. Along with the production of the show, UCSD has asked us to speak to their incoming students regarding the broadcast/film program. Can you believe that I will be teaching UCSD students anything?

SUV, Watch, On a Boat

ferrari has needed to step into the suv market, but is this photo a fake?
R.J. watches made from parts of the titanic, 100% legit.

This is just amazing and you know it. Thanks Grizz....

After settling back into my apartment, I was able to continue my daily routine of video editing, text messaging, and aimless searching of digg.com for stories about people dumber than I am. But somewhere in my vast and non-sensical net search I came across these two items. The first the photo of the ferrari "suv" which the more I look into it seems to be a fake, and the second, the r.j. watch from Romain Jerome. When The Albert Mason Group, gets its first big picture deal, R.J. watches for everyone. No, but seriously, who buys a watch like this? This week should heat up, hopefully making this page a bit more exciting. Or as my good friend Cameron Sikes says, "time to pump up the jams a bit.". Hopefully you're enjoying the blog thus far, remember I'm doing this for you, not me. I already know all of this amazing information.
Hope you received this well tonight.
Cheers.

NBA All Star Weekend

Vans with the blazer, casual, yet you're not saying I'm here to shotgun a beer.
Decent $9.25 drinks. Actually not really.

This last weekend was a blast.
I was among a three man crew, my boys from The Albert Mason & Meinzer Group.
Carlos & Shelby were on Cameras and I was on the mic. After a night of hard work, we really cashed in on our hookups. Thank you Solemon. Here are some snaps from the event.
Look for the trailer online soon.

Shout out to my boy Grizzlee for coming out with some great music as of late.

Love a good pair of cufflinks.

Lets start with this.........Brioni Tuxedos. Classic.
You could make a Schmuck into a serious lady magnet.

Greetings from J.E.

Thank you all for visiting my corner of the internet.
I hope you enjoy the content. At times it may seem superficial,
it definitely will be at some points, but bare with me and you will fall in love.
our friend Michael Douglas once said, "Greed is good.... greed is necessary...... greed is the purest form of the evolutionary process."
I think I'll leave you with that.

Cheers.
